The XPS 15 manages to keep the compromises to a bare minimum like its predecessors and encourages the user to use it more as a tool. The 4K OLED display is easily the best laptop display my eyes have feasted on while the performance is superlative. The dedicated Nvidia GPU is powerful enough to help with rigorous video and photo editing while the long battery encourages you to go without the cord for the day. The design might be a bit understated but for those mean business, the XPS has just the right amount of flair and appeal to make you smug while flaunt it on the table.

Hoewel het design van de Dell XPS alweer een paar jaar meegaat, heeft Dell met de XPS 15, 7590 weer een maatstaf neergezet. Het design, de bouwkwaliteit en de hardware zijn prima. Als dat nog niet genoeg overtuigd, is het 4K OLED-scherm wel reden genoeg om deze laptop te kopen.

Hij oogt zeer fraai, is razendsnel (vooral bij kortere loads) en de accu gaat voor dat allemaal bij mij 7 uur mee. Het OLED scherm is het zeker waard. In het donker films kijken is verbluffend mooi, de randen zie je niet bij donkere scenes.

Dell: Dell is een Amerikaanse fabrikant (gevestigd in Texas) van computerhardware, opgericht in 1984 en is een van de grootste internationale fabrikanten, zowel qua marktaandeel als qua notebookmodellen. De productlijn omvat desktops, notebooks, opslagsystemen, monitors, servers, printers, consumentenelektronica en randapparatuur. Dell biedt laptops die geschikt zijn voor verschillende toepassingen, zoals zakelijke laptops, gaming laptops, ultra portables en werkstations. De zakelijke laptops uit de Latitude en Precision series van Dell zijn een optie voor professionele gebruikers en bedrijven.

In 2023 had Dell een marktaandeel van ongeveer 17% in de wereldwijde verkoop van pc's en stond daarmee op de derde plaats, na Lenovo en HP.

Voor gameliefhebbers is er Dell's Alienware merk voor gaming notebooks.

Deze middenklasse grafische kaarten kunnen alle huidige spellen vloeiend spelen. Veeleisende spellen kunnen alleen met gemiddelde detail instellingen gespeeld worden.

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
