Qualcomm SD 665

De Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 (SM6125) is een snelle mid-range ARM-gebaseerde SoC die vooral wordt aangetroffen in Android-tablets en -smartphones. De CPU beschikt over 8 Kryo 260-cores (custom design, 64-bit) die verdeeld zijn over twee clusters. Een snelle cluster met vier cores die tot 2 GHz klokken (Kryo 260 Gold - afgeleid van Cortex-A73) en een energie-efficiënte cluster die tot 1.8 GHz klokt (Kryo 260 Silver - afgeleid van Cortex-A53). Beide clusters kunnen ook samen gebruikt worden.

Naast de 8 CPU-cores integreert de SoC een mid-range Adreno 610-GPU met een LPDDR4-geheugencontroller (dual-channel) en wordt ondersteuning geboden voor Wi-Fi (802.11ac + MIMO, max. 867 Mbps), Bluetooth 5 en LTE (X12 LTE-modem met tot 600 Mbps download en 150 Mbps upload).

Dankzij het nieuwe 11-nm LPP-proces zou de energie-efficiënte redelijk goed moeten zijn.
