EN→NLThe Origin PC EON17-X is a highly capable, highly powerful platform to base your own DTR build on. Keep that in mind. This laptop isn't meant to be truly portable; you need both hands to carry it. If that's the type of portable power you want, so much power you can barely lift it, the Origin PC EON17-X is exactly what you were looking for. For me personally, it's perfect. I don't want a box under my desk. I don't want a huge mess of wires, and although the second power brick is a bit much for some, I look at it as one for the CPU and the other for the GPU. The DP ports out the back mean I can use my Rift S VR headset with this easily, too. Everything I personally need as a content creator is at my fingertips, and for that, I have to say thank you Origin PC for making sure there are options like this on the market today, as well as for sending me one to use and figure out what the ultimate in DTR laptop performance brings to the table today.

EN→NLIt’s time for a confession. When the Origin EON17-X arrived on my doorstep, I was blown away by the entirety of it as it was a bit overwhelming. Then I opened it up and realized that this is what high-end premium gaming is all about. It’s about a laptop that has all the bells and whistles. It’s luxurious in every way possible, from its fast and vivid (albeit, dim) 17-inch, 300Hz display to its powerful 11th Gen Intel Core i9 CPU backed by the latest Nvidia RTX GeForce 3080 GPU with 16GB of VRAM. It may be redonkulous-sized but, so am I, and I love it. Origin even gets the audio quality right. Nobody wants a Bentley monster truck gaming laptop with tinny speakers or a weak cooling system.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU:
Deze grafische kaarten zouden de meeste moderne spellen op een hoge resolutie en hoge details moeten kunnen draaien (enkele uitzonderingen zijn mogelijk).

Op Rocket Lake gebaseerde high-end desktop CPU met 8 kernen geklokt op 3,5 - 5,3 GHz en een TDP van 125 Watt.

17.30": Dit grote schermformaat wordt gebruikt voor laptops die voornamelijk bedoeld zijn voor gebruik op een bureau.
Grote schermformaten laten hogere resoluties toe. Details zoals letters zijn groter. Anderzijds is het energieverbruik lager bij kleine schermdiagonalen en de toestellen zijn kleiner, lichter en goedkoper.

Dit gewicht is typisch voor desktopvervangers met 17 inch schermen en beperkte mobiliteit.
80%: Dit cijfer is niet echt overtuigend. Het moet in acht worden genomen dat er bijna geen laptops zijn die een score onder de 60% hebben. Dit notebook is beneden gemiddeld beoordeeld, en is niet aanbevolen te kopen.
