The Oppo Find N3 is the best foldable phone you can get right now, especially if you’re in a market where the OnePlus Open (quite literally the same phone as the N3 but with slightly different software) isn’t available. There’s very little holding the Oppo Find N3 back. The hardware is great, the software features make great use of the hardware, and the camera performance is remarkable for a foldable phone. I’ve used the phone longer than I do with most review units, and in my six months of usage, I’ve found very little to complain about. The Oppo Find N3 is a nearly complete package, and it only misses out on a few things. Wireless charging is the biggest negative here. ColorOS also needs some work, but it’s headed in the right direction.

Honestly I am extremely impressed with the OPPO Find N3 and as a foldable I do like the bigger inside screen and the cameras and software and the overall experience in my book is just off the scale impressive. Granted there was one or two little things I would like to be changed such as the overlapping apps along with possibly redesigning the massively huge camera bump at the back but otherwise for me, the OPPO Find N3 screen premium, high end performance and luxury and it is a worth competitor and possibly the winner of best foldable so far for 2024 in my books. My only question still remains – longevity of the device and foldable screen, especially with the price but also with the majority of consumers holding onto their phones for longer periods than previous generations.

And believe me, unfolding this device in public during the review process has actually gotten me some unexpected attention, with folks falling to the allure of that big Hasselblad module and coming up to me, asking about it. And yes, it may not be as feature-friendly as the Galaxy Z Fold5, a foldable which has basically become the benchmark that every other foldable entering the market needs to meet or beat. Did I have fun using the Find N3 as my daily driver, along with features like its Boundless View mode and the fact I can pretty much use Google Wallet with it? Absolutely. Would I recommend it wholeheartedly as a common option to the masses?

It competes well with the benchmark in the class, the Galaxy Z Fold5, by delivering as good or better results in key areas, while not really falling short in any major way. For example, the Find N3's rear cameras are more versatile on both the ultrawide and telephoto end. The displays on the Oppo foldable are nicer in almost every way, and on top of what is mostly a tie battery life, the Find N3 adds quicker charging. The nice speakers help too. The Oppo also offers a compelling alternative to what's been one of Samsung's key selling points - the software bits to make the most out of the form factor. I think the cameras on the OPPO Find N3 are definitely fantastic, alongside the alert slider and some of the software features. I am optimistic about this, but I am also cautious about other aspects like IP rating, the taskbar that’s oddly limiting, and the Fineasy… that needs to change. I just think that the price of RM7,999 is definitely high, and it’ll be interesting when we put things in perspective with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 which costs RM700 cheaper for the same storage configuration. Again, that comparison will come soon. So that’s all I have to share with you in this video. Is the OPPO Find N3 the perfect foldable device? Definitely not. There is no perfect foldable device, at least not right now.

Qualcomm Adreno 740:
Grafische chip voor smartphones en tablets die is geïntegreerd in de Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Qualcomm beweert dat deze 25% sneller is dan de Adreno 730 in de Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 en de eerste benchmarks laten zien dat de GPU de Apple A16 iGPU (voorheen de snelste smartphone GPU) kan verslaan.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

SD 8 Gen 2:
High-end SoC voor smartphones die eind 2022 werd geïntroduceerd met een snelle hoofdkern op basis van een ARM Cortex-X3-architectuur die draait op maximaal 3,2 GHz. Twee andere krachtige kernen zijn gebaseerd op de A715 en ondersteunen ook alleen 64-bit toepassingen. De andere twee A710-kernen ondersteunen ook 32-bits toepassingen, net als de energiebesparende Cortex-A510-kernen. Naast de processorkernen bevat de SoC een WiFi 7-modem, een Hexagon DSP (voor AI-versnelling) en een Spectra ISP. De geïntegreerde geheugencontroller ondersteunt snel LPDDR5x-geheugen tot 4200 MHz. 5G is opgenomen in de chip met de Snapdragon X70 modem.

7.82": Dit schermformaat bevindt zich op de grens tussen tablets en smartphones. De meeste tablets hebben grotere schermdiagonalen maar er zijn ook heel wat smartphones met een dergelijk groot scherm.
