Gezien de verkoopprijs van €750 mogen we wel een toestel verwachten dat zich op veel vlakken moet kunnen meten met de Samsung Galaxy S9 en de Huawei P20. Misschien dat we de lat dan net te hoog leggen wat betreft fotografie, maar dat zullen we zien in de uiteindelijke test. Wat verwacht jij van dit toestel en waar ben je benieuwd naar.

De ondermaatse cameraprestaties en het ontbreken van een notificatielampje kunnen echte afknappers zijn voor veel mensen. Voor een vlaggenschip is vooral een matige camera niet meer van deze tijd. Toch is de Nokia 8 qua vormgeving van de hardware én software een erg plezierig toestel om te gebruiken. Bovendien kunnen in theorie de minpunten met software-updates nog worden verbeterd.

De Nokia 8 is een erg prettig toestel, met prettige pluspunten zoals een vlot, schoon systeem, stevige bouwkwaliteit. Maar waarom ik de Nokia 8 vooral prettig vond om te testen, is het feit dat er juist niks echt mis was. Natuurlijk, de camera kon beter en de vingerafdrukscanner nauwkeuriger. Maar ondanks dat is Nokia terug met een toptoestel, dat bij twijfel altijd de veilige keuze is.

Comme l’explique très bien Sébastien (qui lui octroie la note de 4/5), « le Nokia 8 est un bel appareil, non exempt de petits défauts, mais qui ramène Nokia sur le marché des smartphones ». Le retour de Nokia est donc réussi et devra être confirmé en 2018.

Overall, the Nokia 8 is a solid flagship device. Some smart hardware and a bit of vanilla Android marry together for a pleasing enough everyday user experience. Qualcomm Adreno 540:

De meeste niet-veeleisende huidige games kunnen vloeiend draaien. Wees voorbereid op verminderde grafische weergave door lage detailinstellingen en lage resoluties. Toch verschaffen deze kaarten voldoende prestatie voor kantoor taken en video bekijken (niet voor HD videos).

Grote schermformaten laten hogere resoluties toe. Details zoals letters zijn groter. Anderzijds is het energieverbruik lager bij kleine schermdiagonalen en de toestellen zijn kleiner, lichter en goedkoper.
