NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 A Laptop GPU

De Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 A Laptop GPU (mobiel) is een moderne Ada Lovelace-variant van de RTX 3050 4GB Laptop GPU. Deze biedt echter veel minder kernen (slechts 1.792) en een kleine 64-bits geheugenbus voor 4 GB GDDR6.

De prestaties zouden slechts vergelijkbaar moeten zijn met de oude 4GB RTX 3050 Laptop GPU op basis van Ampere, vanwege het lagere aantal kernen en de kleine geheugenbus.

De AD106 / AD107-chip is vervaardigd op het moderne 5nm-proces van TSMC (4N) en daarom zou de GPU een beter stroomverbruik moeten hebben dan de oude RTX 3050-varianten (gebaseerd op het Samsung 8N-proces). Het stroomverbruik ligt tussen de 35 en 50 Watt voor de 3050 A en is daarom geschikt voor dunne multimedia-laptops.
