Mediatek Dimensity 800U

De Mediatek Dimensity 800U is een snelle middenklasse SoC met een geïntegreerde 5G modem. Het bevat twee snelle ARM Cortex-A76 kernen tot 2,4 GHz en zes energiezuinige Cortex-A55 kernen tot 2 GHz (Octa-Core met Heterogeneous Multi-Processing). Verder integreert de chip een 3-core ARM Mali-G57 MC3 GPU, een Wi-fi 5-modem, een LPDDR4x-geheugencontroller, een AI-verwerkingseenheid (APU 3.0) en videodecodering.

In vergelijking met de Dimensity 820 biedt de 800U lagere geklokte A76-kernen en een tragere GPU.

De Dimensity 800U wordt geproduceerd in het moderne 7nm proces en moet zeer energiezuinig zijn.
