Net zoals hun mobiele tegenhangers hebben de desktop Raven Ridge APU’s indruk op ons weten te maken. Met een vermogen van 65 Watt en uitgerust met snel DDR4 geheugen zijn vooral de grafische prestaties een stuk hoger dan bij de mobiele versies. De snelle Zen CPU cores resulteren in een bliksemsnelle CPU, terwijl de GPU zich kan meten met aparte instapmodel grafische kaarten. De APU is daarmee snel genoeg voor casual gaming. Dankzij de AM4 comptabiliteit is deze APU ook geschikt voor het upgraden van een al bestaand systeem.
