Intel i5-1145G7

De Intel Core i5-1145G7 is een energiezuinige quad-core SoC voor laptops en Ultrabooks, gebaseerd op de Tiger Lake-U-generatie die begin 2021 werd aangekondigd. Hij integreert vier Willow Cove processorkernen (8 threads dankzij HyperThreading). De basiskloksnelheid hangt af van de TDP-instellingen en varieert van 1,1 GHz (12 Watt TDP) tot 2,6 GHz (28 Watt). De Boost wordt altijd gespecificeerd op 4,4 GHz (één of twee cores).

Een andere noviteit is de geïntegreerde Xe grafische kaart met 80 EU's op basis van de volledig nieuwe Gen 12-architectuur. Deze biedt aanzienlijk hogere prestaties in vergelijking met de oudere Iris Plus G7 (Ice Lake).

Verder voegen Tiger Lake SoC's PCIe 4-ondersteuning (4 lanes), AI-hardwareversnelling, en de gedeeltelijke integratie van Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 en Wifi 6 in de chip toe. Daarnaast ondersteunt de i5 vPro voor eenvoudig beheer op afstand.

De chip wordt geproduceerd in het verbeterde 10nm SuperFin-proces bij Intel dat vergelijkbaar zou moeten zijn met het 7nm-proces bij TSMC (bijv. Ryzen 4000-serie).
