Intel Atom N2600

De Intel Atom N2600 is een dual-core instapniveau processor voor netbooks en tablets. Deze is na wat problemen met de grafische drivers (volgens de geruchten) officieel aangekondigd in december 2011.

De N2600 beschikt over een PowerVR SGX545-gebaseerde chip (op 400 MHz) genaamd Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 en een videodecoding engine voor MPEG4 Part2, VC-1, WMV9 en H.264. Verder ondersteund de chip Display 1.1 en HDMI 1.3a uitgangen.

De processor core zou nog vergelijkbaar moeten zijn met oudere Atom processoren. De prestaties van de N2600 zouden vergelijkbaar moeten zijn met de oudere Atom N570.

De geïntegreerde 64-bit single-channel DDR3-800/1067 geheugencontroller ondersteund twee SODIMMS en een maximum van 2GB RAM.
