Ook zal er na veel zoekwerk en instellingen doorploegen wel iets te vinden zijn waarmee het uit kan, maar zo moet het toch niet zijn? Een product van meer dan 800 euro moet altijd goed te gebruiken zijn. Wanneer ik er al moeite mee heb hoe zit het dan met al die mensen die gewoon een goed toestel willen kopen. Nogmaals, ik ga ervan uit dat de update dit zal verhelpen, ik blijf altijd positief.

Voor minder geld kun je beter krijgen, en daardoor wordt de HTC U12+ voor veel mensen helaas een goede smartphone die je nooit zal kopen.

The HTC U12+ makes improvements over its predecessors with a slimmer body with a refreshing see thru design not seen on smartphones. HTC’s display provides accurate colors and supports HDR content which is great. Unfortunately the U12+ relies a good deal on squeeze and pressure sensitive features which can be a turn off for some. Those buttons are hard to adapt to. Its stand out those is the camera which takes superb detailed images and doesn’t go overboard with colors saturation.

I came into 2018 excited for HTC, but the U12+ just killed it all for me. As good as the camera and specs might be, and as much as I like looking at and holding this phone, it’s just not that fun to use. HTC screwed up buttons, which is something I’m not sure I expected to say…ever. Their Edge Sense technology is mostly a mess, battery life on this phone is not good at all, and I’m really worried that HTC has given up on updating their phones regularly. Couple all of that with the fact that its an $800 investment and you should probably pass on this one.

De meeste niet-veeleisende huidige games kunnen vloeiend draaien. Wees voorbereid op verminderde grafische weergave door lage detailinstellingen en lage resoluties. Toch verschaffen deze kaarten voldoende prestatie voor kantoor taken en video bekijken (niet voor HD videos).

Grote schermformaten laten hogere resoluties toe. Details zoals letters zijn groter. Anderzijds is het energieverbruik lager bij kleine schermdiagonalen en de toestellen zijn kleiner, lichter en goedkoper.
