EN→NLIn less than nine months Microsoft stops supporting Windows 10. The HP Spectre X360 is both a very nice Notebook and if you turn the screen through 180 degrees it is an excellent Tablet. In either mode you have Touchscreen ability. This was a brand new unit which took 35 minutes from switch on till you have answered all Microsoft's questions and done the required updates. I then found close to 50 files in 'updates' after around another 30 minutes I saw a number of the updates had been completed and several others required a restart. After I went to restart it decided I needed a BIOS update and after that a Firmware update. When I checked the updates I found everything completed so almost 50 updates in a hour. It comes with Windows 11 Home 24H2 (this has only just become available) 64GHz version.

This is a do-it-all device that can go from productivity tasks to gaming with ease. The inclusion of an Nvidia RTX 4050 discrete GPU takes performance up a notch, which is great for gaming as well as content creation. Overall, the Spectre x360 16 thoroughly impressed me. The large OLED display renders everything in bright, colorful detail and the speakers are some of the best I’ve ever heard on a laptop. If you’re looking for one of the best 2-in-1 laptops, this one deserves your attention.

EN→NLThe 2024 reboot of the HP Spectre x360 16 is the latest in a successful string of premium laptops, marked by a luxurious design and a premium 1800p OLED touch screen. Features like AI-enhanced hardware and software, an excellent 9MP webcam, and clever new touchpad gestures all add appeal, but those high points carry less weight at this price. More a concern: Competing systems simply outpaced the Intel Core Ultra processor in this implementation. Even with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 giving the laptop a visual boost, its performance never quite keeps pace with the like-priced pack. The premium design and features count for a lot. But the performance isn't category-leading, making this Spectre a worthwhile choice for many, but not the standout leader on all fronts that you might have hoped for, given past x360 efforts.

EN→NLYes, its size is a bit awkward as a handheld tablet and the RTX 4050 upgrade may not bring you the graphics performance you desire, but the HP Spectre x360 16 remains a versatile and well-designed two-in-one. Its audio-visual output is excellent and makes the system a great pick for general home use when you aren't using the giant OLED display for creative endeavors.

NVIDIA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU:
Grafische kaart uit het middensegment voor laptops gebaseerd op de Ada Lovelace-architectuur. Biedt 6 GB GDDR6 (96 bit) en is configureerbaar met een TGP van 35 - 115 W (+ Dynamic Boost).
Deze middenklasse grafische kaarten kunnen alle huidige spellen vloeiend spelen. Veeleisende spellen kunnen alleen met gemiddelde detail instellingen gespeeld worden.

Ultra 7 155H: Een high-end Meteor Lake-chip die in december 2023 zijn debuut maakte. Deze Core Ultra-processor van de 1e generatie vervangt de Core-chips van de 13e generatie; hij beschikt over 16 kernen (6 + 8 + 2) en 22 threads. De Performance-kernen, waarvan er 6 zijn, draaien op maximaal 4,8 GHz, terwijl de Efficient-kernen, waarvan er 10 zijn (8 hoofdkernen plus 2 extra in het Low Power Island) op maximaal 3,8 GHz draaien. De geïntegreerde AI Boost NPU biedt twee Gen 3 engines voor hardware AI werklastversnelling. Het "minimaal verzekerde" stroomverbruik van deze laptopprocessor is 28 W, terwijl het Turbo-verbruik binnen de 115 W zou moeten blijven.
