The Oryon architecture's CPU performance in Arm-native applications -- which includes Microsoft's suite of business apps and the most popular browser on Earth, Google Chrome -- is top-notch. When you have to fall back to x86- only applications, performance is still solid. The NPU is a good addition for the target client base, too, as running image and audio enhancement models there instead of an iGPU or CPU frees up resources. Add to all of that the best battery life we've ever tested in a laptop and you've got a winner. Pricing is pretty straightforward right now, as HP offers just one SKU of the EliteBook Ultra.

While more applications are running natively on ARM than ever before, and the ARM x86 emulation software is better than ever, if you need certain specialized programs to do your job, it is probably better to stick with a more traditional Intel or AMD-powered Windows system.

Qualcomm Adreno X1-85 3.8 TFLOPS: Een geïntegreerde grafische adapter waar verschillende Snapdragon X Elite en X Plus processors over beschikken. De Adreno heeft geen SUHD 4320p monitorondersteuning en is wat prestaties betreft niet veel sneller dan de verouderende 96 EU Intel Iris Xe iGPU.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

SD X Elite X1E-78-100: Een systeem-op-een-chip met ARM-architectuur voor gebruik in Windows-laptops. De X1E-78-100 is het langzaamste lid van de Snapdragon X Elite productfamilie, vanaf mei 2024; als zodanig heeft het 12 Oryon CPU-kernen (8 P-cores en 4 E-cores) die op niet meer dan 3,4 GHz draaien en een 3,8 TFLOPS Adreno GPU. Een 45 TOPS Hexagon NPU, een indrukwekkend snelle LPDDR5x-8448 geheugencontroller, USB 4.0 ondersteuning, TB 4 ondersteuning en PCIe 4 ondersteuning zijn inbegrepen om het geheel zoeter te maken.
