ARM Immortalis-G720 MP7

De ARM Immortalis-G720 MP7 (of MC7) is een middenklasse GPU voor smartphones en tablets, die voor het eerst in deze vorm te vinden is in de MediaTek Dimensity 8400.

Hij gebruikt 7 van de 16 mogelijke kernen en is gebaseerd op de nieuwste 5e generatie GPU-architectuur. Volgens ARM biedt deze 15 procent hogere prestaties dan de vorige generatie met hetzelfde aantal kernen en heeft deze toegang tot 40 procent meer geheugenbandbreedte.

In onze test van de Dimensity 8400 in de Xiaomi Poco X7 Pro presteerde de GPU op ongeveer hetzelfde niveau als een Adreno 735 in de Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.

De Immortalis-G720 GPU's ondersteunen Variable Rate Shading (VRS), Deferred Vertex Shading (DVS) en hardware-gebaseerde ray tracing. De GPU wordt gefabriceerd in 4 nanometer.
