AMD R7 7700

De AMD Ryzen 7 7700 is een snelle high-end desktopprocessor uit de Raphael-serie. Hij biedt 8 cores op basis van de Zen 4-architectuur die hyperthreading (16 threads) ondersteunt. De cores klokken van 3,8 (basis) tot 5,3 GHz (single core boost). Vergeleken met de snellere Ryzen 9 CPU's (zoals de 7900X) biedt de R7 minder cores en iets lagere kloksnelheden.

De prestaties van de R7 7700 liggen iets onder die van de hoger geklokte AMD R7 7700X (die ook een hogere TDP heeft).

De Raphael-serie maakt nog steeds gebruik van een chiplet-ontwerp met twee CCD-clusters (elk met 8 mogelijke kernen, dus slechts één gebruikt voor de 7700X) in 5nm en een IO-die (inclusief de geheugencontroller en de Radeon Graphics iGPU) in 6nm.

De Ryzen 7 7700 heeft een TDP van slechts 65 Watt en is daarom geschikt voor kleinere desktops (en koeloplossingen).
