AMD A10-5750M

De AMD A10-5750M is een mobiele quad-core processor, die gebaseerd is op de Richland architectuur. Als opvolger van de A10-4600M levert de A10-5750M iets betere CPU en grafische prestaties en is hij het nieuwe top model van de A-serie (maart 2013).

In vergelijking met Trinity is de Richland architectuur in kleine mate veranderd. Aan de feature set of de Pro-MHz prestaties is niets veranderd. Het design van de chip is nog steeds gebaseerd op de Bulldozer architectuur, die uit zogenaamde modules bestaat. Elke module heeft 2 integer units, maar slechts een FPU. Net als Trinity ondersteunt Richland bijna alle huidige technologieën, zoals AVX (inclusief FMA), AES en Turbo Core.

De eerste PCMark 7 benchmarkresultaten tonen ten opzichte van de A10-4600M een toename in prestaties van ongeveer 10% (5750M: 2175 punten, 4600M: 1965 punten). De A10-5750M is dus grofweg vergelijkbaar met een Core i3-2330M (Sandy Bridge).

De geïntegreerde Radeon HD 8650G heeft 384 shader units (VLIW4) en loopt op 533 tot 720 MHz (met Turbo Boost, iets hogere kloksnelheid dan HD 7660G). Met zijn snelle dual-channel geheugen verwachten we betere prestaties dan van een dedicated HD 7670M.

De TDP van de gehele APU bedraagt 35 Watt, wat vergelijkbaar is met conventionele middenklasse modellen van de concurrentie. De APU is hiermee het meest geschikt voor notebooks van 14 inch of groter.
