AMD A10-5745M

De AMD A10-5745M is een mobile low-voltage quad-core processor gebaseerd op de Richland Architectuur. De APU integreert twee modules met een kloksnelheid van 2.1 tot 2.9 GHz, een Radeon HD 8610G grafische kaart en een DDR3(L)-1333 geheugen-controller.

Vergeleken met Trinity, verschilt Richland maar op weinig vlakken. Er zijn bijvoorbeeld geen veranderingen in de feature set of de performance in verhouding tot de kloksnelheid. Het ontwerp van de chip is nog steeds gebaseerd op de Bulldozer architectuur, die uit zogenaamde modules bestaat. Elk van de twee modules integreert 2 integer units, maar slechts één FPU. Net als Trinity ondersteunt Richland bijna alle huidige technologieën als AVX (inclusief FMA), AES of Turbo Core.

De prestaties van de A10-5745M CPU zouden gelijkaardig moeten zijn aan die van een Core i3-2310M. De APU is dus krachtig genoeg voor de meeste moderne applicaties en games.

De geïntegreerde GPU, Radeon HD 8610G genaamd, biedt alle 384 shader units (VLIW4) en is iets sneller dan de HD 7660G. De core is geklokt aan 533-626 MHz (turbo).

Het stroomverbruik van de hele APU is afgestemd op 25W, wat iets minder is dan de doorsnee middle-class CPU. Daarom is de APU geschikt voor slanke notebooks van het 13 inch-fomaat of groter.
